San Diegans take precautions during summer warm-up

San Diego County officials are warning people to take extra precautions during the summer warm-up, as extreme heat can lead to heat stroke, exhaustion, and death, and pet owners are advised to take pets on walks in the early mornings or evenings and check pavement temperatures.
