As part of Taytay's ongoing commitment to strengthening environmental programs, Mayor Allan de Leon—alongside Councilors JV Valera, Joan Calderon, Patrick Alcantara, and other dedicated municipal staff—led the inspection of four newly acquired trucks that will be used by the Sagip Ilog Operations and Waste Collection Team.

These vehicles will play a vital role in cleaning and maintaining Taytay’s canals, rivers, and other waterways, which are often clogged due to accumulated waste. Ensuring the proper flow of drainage is crucial in preventing floods and protecting public health, especially during the rainy season.

Mayor Allan emphasized that these initiatives are funded by the taxes of Taytay residents and are part of his administration’s vision of providing “Serbisyong May Ngiti”—a service with a smile—for the community.

“We continue to invest in equipment and programs that directly benefit our people and the environment. These trucks are more than just vehicles—they represent our promise of a cleaner, safer, and more resilient Taytay,” Mayor Allan said during the inspection.

From the people of Taytay, for the people of Taytay—Service with a Smile, always.
