As we previewed on last week’s podcast episode, there’s a big vote coming that has us on the edge of our seats.
San Diego City Council members are set to vote on water rate increases on Tuesday. That increase is driven by the slew of investments our region has made over the years to secure water from a variety of sources.
If you’ve been following City Hall politics or are just fed up with how expensive things are getting, you know this is far from the first vote the Council has made that may drive up local costs.
That’s why this next vote may be a tough one. Last week, Council President Joe LaCava explained on our show that he’s worried about how it will go. If the Council doesn’t approve the water rate increases, what will happen?
