On this week’s episode of the VOSD Podcast, we had a grand ole time at Soda Bar for our latest live podcast recording. San Diego State University’s Athletic Director John David Wicker joined our crew to discuss the ever-changing world of college sports.

If you haven’t been following San Diego State Athletics, you may not know why Wicker has one of the more difficult jobs in town. Don’t worry. The podcast crew asked him all the tough questions.

They talked about ticket prices at Snapdragon, empty seats and arenas. Also, how is the school navigating the complicated world of college athletics and sports betting.

Also on the show: Do you think about those trees you walk under every single day and wonder if they are structurally sound? Well, unfortunately there are some eucalyptus trees in town that aren’t.
