‘The Long Walk’ film adaptation gets Hall H panel at Comic-Con

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Long Walk” is scheduled for a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this Friday.

“The Long Walk” releases this September and is directed by Francis Lawrence, director of The Hunger Games franchise. The film is based on Stephen King’s first novel that he wrote under the pseudonym Richard Bachman.

The panel will be from 3-4 p.m. on Friday, June 25. Confirmed panelists include cast members David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, and Mark Hamill alongside producer Roy Lee and screenwriter JT Mollner.

The event will also include an in-depth Q&A and a “first look at the intense, chilling, and emotional thriller that challenges audiences to confront a haunting question: How far could you go?” according to the official SDCC schedule.

For safety concerns, Comic-Con does not allow early line ups at Hall H until the official line is completed, camping is not permitted, and someone must always be present in line.
