Small plane makes emergency landing on I-15 freeway

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A small plane that made an emergency landing Monday on Interstate 15 has caused traffic delays.
The incident occurred around 4:48 p.m. on northbound I-15 near the Balboa Avenue exit, according to California Highway Patrol's log.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department confirmed the plane did not crash and that there were no injuries.
SkyFOX/KUSI in the Sky was over the scene where the plane is located in between northbound and southbound lanes of the I-15 on the center divide.
Around 5:57 p.m., the CHP Border Communications Center advised the public to "drive through the area with caution as we get the plane safely removed from the freeway."
