Savannah Bananas-inspired food menu to be available at Petco Park

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The Savannah Bananas are known for taking over social media, but they will also be taking over the food stands at Petco Park.

On Friday and Saturday, the entertaining baseball team will be bringing their flair and imagination to the Padres home stadium.

To celebrate the spirit of the Bananas, there will be a variety of creative menu items offered during the games:

• Adobada Plantain Chip Nacho
  Tortilla and plantain chips topped with queso, pork adobada, avocado salsa, grilled pineapple and onion.
  Available at Sections 105 and 101
• 5 Alarm Fire Fighter's Pizza
  Stracciatella, prosciutto, grilled peaches, pistachio, hot honey and sliced Fresno peppers.
  Available at Section 102
• Plantain Chips with Peach Salsa
  Crispy plantain chips with refreshing peach salsa.
  Available at Sections 105 and 128
• Banana Split
  Soft serve, banana, whipped cream, chocolate and strawberry sauces, and a cherry on top.
  Available at Sections 111 and 131
• Banana Lumpia
  A dessert roll filled with banana, chocolate, hazelnut, mazapan butter and topped with horchata whipped crème.

• Savannah Banana Souvenir Soda Cup
  A collectible cup for sipping and showing off your Banana pride.
