A San Diego Navy veteran is suing Amazon after a tabletop alcohol-burning fire pit exploded, causing him severe third-degree burns and permanent scarring. Although the specific product brand was recalled in 2024, attorney Jeremy Robinson alleges Amazon failed to adequately warn customers of the danger. This marks the second major explosion involving similar devices in San Diego County within the last year.
