San Diego fined Marvel contractor $160K for Gaslamp sign

The City of San Diego issued more than $200,000 in fines during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, including a $160,000 penalty against Marvel Studios' contractor for installing an unauthorized "Avengers: Doomsday" advertisement on the Gaslamp sign.
