Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero lights up October nights with horror flicks and more

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Immerse yourself in an outdoor nighttime experience unlike any other this Halloween season with the Rooftop Cinema Club's lineup of horror movies and cult classics throughout October, as well as special events for all ages to enjoy.

Located on the roof of the Manchester Grand Hyatt, off Harbor Drive, the Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero will be showing a lineup of Halloween classics on the big screen at its makeshift, skyline theater overlooking downtown San Diego.

The Halloween movie lineup is full of horror flick classics that transcend generations and leave you shaking in your rooftop lawn seat.

Some of the horror films being shown include:
Hocus Pocus - Friday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 17 at 5 p.m.
The Mummy - Saturday, Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m.
Final Destination Bloodlines - Monday, Oct. 6 at 9:45 p.m.
American Psycho - Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m.
Urban Legend - Saturday, Oct. 11 at 9:15 p.m.
The Nightmare Before Christmas - Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m.
Scream - Monday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m.
The Silence of the Lambs - Thursday, Oct. 16 at 9:45 p.m.
Halloween - Saturday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m.
Jaws - Sunday, Oct. 19 at 6:45 p.m.

Get Out - Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 9:30 p.m
Friday the 13th - Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m.
Sinners - Monday, Oct. 27 at 9:45 p.m.

Halloween Night Triple Header: The Nightmare Before Christmas at 5 p.m., Hocus Pocus at 7:30 p.m. and Halloween at 10 p.m.

In addition to the plethora of films being shown, several special events for all ages will also be taking place. On Oct. 3, the most "fetch" day of the year, the Rooftop Cinema Club will hold Mean Girls Day, during which the iconic film from 2004 will be on full display at 8 p.m.

Films that start before 4 p.m. are open to guests of all ages, with ticket prices ranging from $11 to $24. For flicks that begin after 4 p.m., the prices range from $19 to $26 and are open to guests ages 13 and over.
