Possible bird strike prompts emergency plane landing at SAN
A flight departing from San Diego International Airport Friday made an emergency landing, aviation officials said.

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A flight departing from San Diego International Airport Friday made an emergency landing, aviation officials said.
Alaska Airlines Flight 1414 was headed to Los Cabos, MX, when the crew reported a possible bird strike, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed on its website.
The Boeing 737-900 returned safely to SAN around 1:05 p.m.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
