Padres season ends after loss to Cubs in NL Wild Card Series

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The Padres season ended Thursday after their Game 3 loss to the Chicago Cubs in the National League Wild Card Series.
The Padres bats went cold in the elimination game that ended in a 3-1 defeat.
Things got off to a messy start for the Friars as starting pitcher Yu Darvish got pulled in the second inning after giving up four hits and recording two errors.
The Cubs move on to the NL Divisional Series to play the Milwaukee Brewers.
