Foggy trick-or-treat night, mild weekend, cooler days next week
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A warm Halloween afternoon setting up for San Diego but we could get more of the spooky fog rolling into our coastal communities for the trick-or-treating hours.
Temperatures Friday afternoon are still trending five to 10 degrees above normal but around sunset low to mid 60's will be felt across the region this evening.
More widespread cloud cover will creep in for coastal communities first and then some valleys starting at 8 p.m. and look to clear mid-morning Saturday.
Marine layer clouds look to develop further into our inland areas each evening and morning for the weekend and early next week as onshore flow strengthens. Afternoons this weekend look mostly clear.
Under a strong temperatures inversion, patchy fog is expected again for some of the immediate coastline Friday evening so look out for lower visibility.
Saturday and Sunday will feature mild temperatures with low 70's at the coast and low 80's for the valleys. We will get a gradual cool down into early November as a few Pacific storms develop well to the north of us.
As of now, the forecast remains dry.
