Fatal rollover crash on SR-94 backs up traffic in City of San Diego Saturday night
A fatal rollover crash on State Route 94 in San Diego caused a traffic backup Saturday evening.

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- At least one person is dead and traffic was backed up Saturday evening after a vehicle turned over onto its roof on State Route 94 in the City of San Diego.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a one-car collision around 5:45 p.m. after a vehicle turned over onto its roof and landed on top of a concrete highway divider and collided with a guiderail on SR-94 west just before the interchange with I-15.
CHP confirmed the crash was fatal. It is unclear at this time how many occupants were in the vehicle.
At least two lanes of SR-94 westbound, between I-15 and I-805, were closed following the crash, and traffic was backed up and slow-go still as of 7 p.m. Officers at the scene said they expect to remain there into the early evening as crews clear the wreckage and investigate the crash.
