Evacuation orders lifted for Rancho Fire in Ramona

RAMONA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Evacuation orders have been lifted after for a fire burning in Ramona west of Casner Road along the 78 freeway.
Dubbed the "Rancho Fire," Cal Fire reported the blaze around 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
Evacuation Orders were issued for North of Julian Road and west of Rancho Ballena Road, as well as areas south of Golden Eagle Road, but those have since been lifted as of 4:31 p.m.
A temporary evacuation point was set up at the Ramona Rodeo, 422 Aqua Lane, in Ramona.
According to AlertSanDiego, a long-term closure is being set up on SR-78 from upper Rancho Santa Teresa Drive to Old Julian Highway due to a crash that sparked the fire.
Highway 78 has since reopened in both directions.
As of 4:10 p.m., the forward rate of speed for the Rancho Fire has been stopped, while the fire has spread to 105 acres and is 15% contained.
