Coast Guard to enforce safety zones during Big Bay Boom fireworks

The US Coast Guard will establish 1,000-foot radius safety zones around each of the four fireworks barges during the Big Bay Boom on July 4th to protect spectators, event participants, and other boaters, with violators facing fines of up to $250,000 and six years in federal prison.
