City council approves fund to maintain affordable housing in San Diego

The San Diego City Council has proposed the creation of an affordable housing preservation fund, which would transfer $8.5 million from the city's neighborhood enhancement fee fund to acquire and rehabilitate units that would remain affordable long-term.
