Brush fire burning in rural North County

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A brush fire broke out Tuesday in a remote area of De Luz, authorities said.
The blaze, dubbed the "Sandia Fire," occurred around 3:19 p.m. in the vicinity of the 40000 block of Sandia Creek Drive, according to Cal Fire San Diego.
As of 5 p.m., the fire has burned 50 acres with the potential of hitting up to 250 acres, per fire officials. Some structures are threatened at this time.
The County of San Diego temporarily issued an evacuation warning, which means that all in the impacted area should prepare to evacuate, but that has since been lifted after improved containment of the fire.
