MarketInk: Magic 92.5-FM promotes free concert by Frankie J at December Nights


San Diego radio station XHRM-FM Magic 92.5, one of three local radio stations operated by Local Media San Diego, has announced that Platinum-selling artist, actor and San Diego native Frankie J will perform a free concert as the music headliner at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, at December Nights.
Magic 92.5 is the exclusive radio media partner of December Nights, San Diego’s largest free annual holiday festival held in Balboa Park.
Frankie J attended Southwest High School and developed his talents into a bilingual musical career spanning multiple decades, the radio station said. Highlights include singles “Suga Suga,” “Don’t Wanna Try” and “Obsession (No Es Amor),” a Grammy-Award nomination. He also has collaborated with several English and Spanish artists, including Pitbull, Baby Bash, Cristian Castro and Dulce María.
“Frankie J could not be more a perfect fit for a family event like December Nights,” said Randy “R Dub” Williams, program director and afternoon host at Magic 92.5.
“His multi-cultural San Diego roots and talents are loved by locals and fans of all ages, and he has recorded a holiday album with classics like Jingle Bells, White Christmas and Silent Night. This will be a treat for the December Nights audience and a memorable evening for all.”
December Nights, scheduled for Dec. 5 and 6, will feature holiday lights and décor, international food and drinks and an appearance by Santa Claus. Selected museums in Balboa Park will offer free admission during the event. Information about activities and parking is available here.

Jack in the Box launches Munch Better Deals
The latest advertising campaign from San Diego-based Jack in the Box, Inc. is promoting its new “Munch Better Deals” menu, available through Jan. 5, 2026.
Three new Munch Better meals, scheduled for promotion via in-store, linear TV, social media, mobile and apps, “are built to hit every kind of craving,” a JITM statement said. The new menu items include:
- The Brunchie Meal includes a Breakfast Jack, hash brown and three French Toast Sticks with a maple syrup dip cup and small coffee;
- The Lunchie Meal includes a choice between Double Junior Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger or Big Chicken Sandwich with 10 Tiny Tacos, curly fries and a drink;
- The Gremlins Midnight Meal includes two chicken strips, two tacos, onions rings, Halfsie fries, Midnight Sauce, a drink and limited-edition Gremlins air freshener.
Other new menu options include a Midnight Snack vanilla shake served with M&Ms milk chocolate candies, salty pretzel pieces, mini marshmallows and crunchy graham cracker crumbles, as well as Nashville Hot Mozzarella Sticks with buttermilk ranch dressing.
“Jack’s famous Munchie Meals have always been a game-changer, giving fans a chance to explore bold, craveable innovations on a rotating basis,” a statement said.
Jack in the Box, Inc. operates and franchises Jack in the Box, one of the nation’s largest hamburger chains, with approximately 2,160 restaurants across 22 states.
InnoVision Marketing Group named to Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing list
San Diego-based InnoVision Marketing Group, a full-service marketing agency, reports it has been named to Inc. Magazine’s 2025 list of 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.
InnoVision placed at No. 4,329 with a three-year growth rate of 77%.
It is the first time the agency has made the list, an InnoVision spokesperson told Times of San Diego.
