The event was further honored by the presence and support of respected public officials including Mayor Allan De Leon, Vice Mayor JV Cabitac, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, as well as Governor Nina Ricci Ynares and Congress Woman Mia Ynares. The Municipality of Taytay is advancing its commitment to sustainable development and energy resilience through a Joint Committee Hearing centered on a proposal to install solar panels as part of its infrastructure strategy.

The initiative, presented by Dantru Industrial and Energy Corporation and RPConnect, was discussed in cooperation with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) and the Sangguniang Bayan ng Taytay. The proposal aims to introduce solar energy solutions across key facilities in the municipality, offering a practical response to rising energy costs and ongoing power challenges.

At the core of the proposal is the integration of renewable energy systems into public infrastructure, particularly through the installation of solar panels. This approach is expected to significantly reduce electricity expenses, improve energy efficiency, and provide a more stable and sustainable power supply for government operations and, potentially, the broader community.

The Joint Committee Hearing focused on evaluating the feasibility, long-term benefits, and implementation strategies of the solar initiative. Officials underscored the importance of forward-looking solutions that not only address immediate energy concerns but also contribute to environmental sustainability.

Through the support of LEDIPO, the municipality continues to strengthen its capacity to adopt innovative and cost-effective technologies.
